Rotary Australia Repurposing Equipment program (RARE)
Dear David and Sharon,
On behalf of the team and clients of Children’s Physio SA, we wanted to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Rotary Australia Repurposing Equipment program for the incredible donation of equipment we received in March.

Many of our youngest clients particularly, are in strong need of equipment to assist their development. Due to delays in receiving funding and long delays in receiving equipment once it is ordered, many of our children traditionally have been missing out on having their equipment needs met when they need it the most. The donated equipment we have received, has allowed our children to have their equipment needs met immediately, which will have significant positive impacts on their health and development.
One child who has benefited from the donations is 2 year old Remi, who has Cerebral Palsy. Remi is unable to walk by herself, but is interested in taking some steps. Remi is awaiting approval to be funded for a walker, and thanks to the Rotary donation has been able to borrow one for use at home and childcare while she is waiting. The exercise the walker is allowing her to do is improving the strength in her legs, her balance, and her happiness as she can access her environment more easily. Her family were happy to share some photos of Remi and asked us to pass on their thanks.

On behalf of our staff group and practice as well as our grateful clients, we have made a $500 donation to the program in thanks for the equipment we have received. We wish you all the best for the project going forwards.
Yours sincerely,
Karen Schubert & Phil Calvert
